I want to customize the Message/Alerts window. My Auditor ask me that he wants to see the name of the supplier after the column of the user name of the creator of the PO.
Please guide how can I do this.

Direct Upgrade from SB0 2007 up to 8.82 PL05(upgrade)
Hi All,
I am just looking through the sap notes for the upgrades on our systems - would it be possible to upgrade directly from 2007A SP00 PL35 to 8.82 PL05 or would I have to bring the system up to 8.81 first?
I did a test on the datbase system here which is 8.81 and the upgrade on the database did not encounter via the upgrade wizard tool.
Any thoughts appreciated

TAO NT Naming Service failed to start
HI,
When trying to upgrade to 8.8 we get an error message when the TAO NT Naming Services tries to start. It says "The applicaton has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. "
Reinstalling the SAP server services does not solve the problem. Does anyone know how to fix this configuration?
This server does not have any virus protection software running on it, so that is not the issue.

UI API server unavailable
HI
We have got strange issue...
When i start the client,it showing message as "UI API server is unavailable,the installation process will not start"...
but i double clicked "SAPBouiCOm.exe" to start the UI API,it also started and it came to the task bar.
after that its showing the same error,So,whats

Database upgrade 8.81 to 8.82. Wizard connection error
Hi,
I've a new server with Windows server 2012 installed.
I've installed SQL server 2008 R2, SAP server tools and SAP server 8.82 PL11.
Then, I would like to upgrade my SAP database, which is currently running on another server, using SQL server 2005 and 8.81 to the new server. Therefore, I've restored the database into the new server and ran the upgrade wizard.
I've tried to run the pre-checks, entered the credentials for the new server and when I'm trying to enter the same credentials for the DB, I get the following message:
"Cannot connect to database, check if user information (user name or password) is correct or if user account is invalid (locked or expired)"
I've checked all that and I can easily login in to the database through the SQL management studio with the same credentials.
Any idea how to go pass this screen and continue to the upgrade test itself?

Background jobs getting stuck in Ready Status
Hi,
We are currently experiencing an issue with certain background jobs being scheduled/triggered but then getting stuck in ready status and not processing when it gets to their start time.
When they get stuck in ready status we can see in sm37 that the executing server is always the application server.
Our central server is a unix system and our application server(s) are windows both running on the oracle db hosted on the central server.
The jobs that are getting stuck are both technical (RDDIMPDP, SAP_COLLECTOR_PERFMON etc) and user triggered jobs.
I've noticed that sometimes we receive messages stating 'unable to connect to oracle' which im assuming is related as these seem to have picked up with the increase in stuck jobs.
and in work process logs these messages keep appearring:

does anyone have an idea of where to look to resolve this?
We have looked at sap note 1902517 and tried various values for parameters SQLNET.SEND_TIMEOUT & SQLNET.RECV_TIMEOUT but they have not resolved this. Since upgrading our kernel and support packs on the system it seems to have worsened in our dev environment too (where these parameters were changed).
The only way to get round this is to go in sm37 and start the job off manually but it is too much time to do this for every stuck job.

GRC addon stuck on Main Import
Hi All,
I am trying to install GRC 10 Add on,
During Main import phase the below warning/error is constantly being written to the dev_coll file
WARNING: VIRT- VMwareSDK: GuestLib_UpdateInfo failed.
WARNING: VIRT- Error: VMware Guest API is not enabled on the host.
I searched a lot but didn't get any solution to this issue.

Changing Period Indicator not allowed in numbering series setup
Hi to all dear experts... and happy new yaer!!!
I need a little help to solve thi s issue.
Today i create a new posting period for year 2015 (sub peridos => months)
After that, i try to change the period indicator in ADMINISTRATION => SYSTEM INIZIALIZATION => NUMBERING SERIES, but at the update, i receive an error message like:
SERIES ALREADY IN USE -Name of the series- [Message 3535-9]
Before update to 9.0, every year i was able tio change the period indicator in Numbering series setup.
Have some advice??

Error 80040154 with class CLSID
Hello:
I hope that somebody can help me, appears to me the following error when SAP tries to load a Add-On.
"<b>Error for Retrieving COM class factory component with class CLSID {632F4591-AA62-4219-22BCF5F62007} failed due to the following error:80040154</b>"
This happens in two Servers with the following characteristics:
1)
WINDOWS: 2003 R2 SP: 2 64bits
SQL: 2005 SP: 2
SAP B1: 2007 PL: 6
2)
WINDOWS: 2003 SP: 2 32bits
SQL: 2000 SP: 2
SAP B1: 2005A PL: 23
Already reinstalled the DIAPI, the Service Manager and PL
Also it reviews the page: https://websmp210.sap-ag.de/smb/sbo/platforms and if it would have to support the Add-On.
Another important data is that in the computers clients if it loads the Add-On well. Please tell me that I can do.

Need help: getting error in sap mmc console
hello everyone,
i am new here, i need help. my SAP System is not working. i am not getting tree in sap mmc console. Actually i installed active directory services on windows server 2003 before installing this my system was working properly bt after that it's not so that i again uninstall it but when starting my system it showing me error i.e. '' At least one service or more driver failed during system start up.. use event viewer to examine the event log for details.' after checking the logs i'm getting following log details...
So, please guys help me out..

We are having portal server Error. I have opened HTTP connection for portal server (FBE). But unable to open the url
NOTE : It is a Window System and it is aportal Server.No sapGui connection is there for portal servers.

SAP File System is getting full
Hi,
The SAP File system is getting full frequently.
We are also reducing by deleting the file. But then also after some hours it is getting Full again (/usr/sap).
Can you please tel the possible root causes for the File system ( /usr/sap) is getting full frequently.
